"The Unionville Celtic Festival is an annual weekend event on Main Street Unionville and, on Sunday, features one of the best traditional Irish Dancing competitions in North America.

The Celtic Festival begins with the Saturday evening Ceilidh and runs through Sunday with great food, traditional music, Celtic dancing and the Unionville Feis, with participants from across North America.

Irish dancers from across North America in traditional dress will be "stepping". The festival will also feature fiddlers and a bag pipe band.

Main Street Unionville will offer a full program of Celtic music from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14th. During this time it will be open to pedestrians only as it will also from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 15th as the village contiues to welcome bagpipes, fiddlers and dancers for one of Ontario’s largest Celtic Festivals.

Sunday’s Unionville Feis is one of the largest Irish Dance competitions in North America and is hosted by the O'Donnell School of Traditional Irish Dance. Throughout the day, there will be delightful entertainment at the Crosby Arena and Bandstand as more than 550 dancers from the United States and Canada compete in colourful Irish dance costumes for prestigious trophies and medals.

This Feis is sanctioned by the North American Feis Commission; Harry Costelloe, President; and the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America - President Dennis Dennehy and An Coimisium Le Rinci Gaelacha."

Main Street shops and boutiques will be open to celebrate the festival until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 11:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
